The tower will be situated in one the main arteries of Gangnam, the modern, most affluent part of the city, south of the river Han.
With a commercial housing tower that consists of the repetition of small elements, we could end up with a myriad of small sized windows. Our proposal was to insert a façade scale that relates to the urban context of a large, busy boulevard, in which every element is massive. In turn, the delicate brick design, the different scale of façade design and balconies, relates to the scale of the users, as they are closer to the skin of the building.
